That’s right, this ‘Murican 6.4L HEMI V8 Luxury Cruiser(Muscle Car) isn’t gonna be sold here. It will instead be sold overseas. Most likely in the Middle East.

So a ‘Murican car that is made in ‘Murica(actually Canada), won’t be sold in ‘Murica....I’m trying to figure that out and come up with a logical explanation for it...I mean, it’s not like anyone here wouldn’t buy it right?

Yes. CAFE is the reason that a car such as that which is barfing CO2 out the wazoo is no longer sold here, but in other countries where they actually give a damn about that. That makes perfect sense! CAFE and emissions are two very different things. CAFE is about fuel consumption. Other countries do the same thing (promoting greater fuel efficiency) by raising gas taxes (or, at least not subsidizing fuel) to disincentivize purchase of thirsty cars. If these are going to countries in the Middle East, all bets are off, because fuel is cheap and subsidized there, and emissions rules are...lax.

Also, CAFE has been around since the 70s, so it’s really THANKS GERALD FORD AND A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS.

FCA emphasized that there wouldn’t be an SRT variant when they unveiled the refreshed 300, and I could understand that since I haven’t seen very many (if any at all) pre-refresh 300 SRT8s.

I am kind of pissed that there actually is going to be a refreshed SRT meant for other markets besides the U.S. It looks pretty spiffy too, like the last one did.

Its sad because this is the facelift the 300C has deserved since it was first released. I understand the market isnt quite there for this compared to what Benz, Audi and BMW are pushing, but the only thing that would make up for it is Hellcat quadruplets. Think about it.

As the owner of an LX platform car, I hate that this is true.

The Charger moved way up. The Challenger improved, but the Charger is almost nothing like the first one in terms of build quality.

It will be interesting to see the future of the LX platform, or whats left of it at least. Will it go the way of fleet only? Who knows. Higher end taxi companies by me love Panther cars and 300Cs. Theres still a pretty fair market theyre missing out on, even if all they did was stuff a V6 ecoboost type engine into them.
